What you’ll do:
Develop embedded software and firmware for next-generation radar and communication products
Support entire software life cycle including design, architecture, implementation, test, and verification of the software system
Design, implement and integrate advanced perception systems based on radar design, data, and other sensors
Collaborate cross-functionally to build a machine learning engine to scale company AI algorithms
Development of software for radar processors
Analyze data to assess and fix performance issues
Develop functional demonstrations
Evergreen optimization for real-time implementation with focus on continuous improvement and innovation
What you’ll need to succeed:
MS Computer Science, EE, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent
3+ years of applied experience with embedded software and DSP development
Experience in one more of the following areas: Machine Learning, AI, Digital Signal Processing
Competency in implementation and optimization of signal-processing algorithms
Experience designing software systems for ARM-based systems
Experience working on embedded products preferably already in the market
Experience using appropriate development environments, tools, and development kits
Experience with multi-core processor platforms such as ARM processors, digital signal processors (DSP) and other hardware accelerators
Experience with perception development
Strong software development skills, architecture knowledge and coding skills
Experience working with automated driving sensors (Lidar, Radar, Camera)
Strong skills in embedded software design and architecture (Linux, CUDA, DriveWorks) and multi-threading/multi-processing as well as IP networking
Ideal candidate will have automotive, medical, or avionics software/system development experience
